| The Northern
Sinfonia is running a "Come and sing"
performance of
Rutter's Requiem
on 5 June 2010 at the The Sage Gateshead. This would be an
excellent way of familiarising with this work for NYC's concert in

Flyer (pdf, 500Kb) [Posted 6/12/09] NOEL (Northern Orchestral Enterprises Ltd) is running a day school at Queen Ethelburga's College on 12 August 2010 for singers who want to improve their music reading and general musical skills. Booking form (Word document) [Posted 10/6/10] The Chorus has obtained funding from the BBC Performing Arts Fund/Making Music Choral Ambition scheme to run a public choral training day on 18 September 2010 at the Old Courthouse in Thirsk. (Only 100 of the 375 applicants received awards!) Details are now available on the Future Programme page. There is a £5 charge for existing members.
