   Committee information

The Chorus warmly welcomes new singing members.  We rehearse on Saturday afternoons (generally every other week, but sometimes consecutive weeks) in Northallerton Methodist Church Hall (in the centre of Northallerton) from 2pm to 4.30pm, with a break in the summer.
Venue location from Streetmap

Access to the Hall is along the passageway to the right of the church and through the double doors on the left.

Come along and see if you enjoy singing with us.  If you do and decide to stay, there is an annual subscription, which in 2024/5 is £95 for the full year or £50 for a half-year (waived for students in full-time education and people who are unemployed).  Subscriptions are due at the start of rehearsals.

Subscriptions may be Gift-Aided by qualifying UK taxpayers.  There is a combined Membership/Gift Aid form here PDF , or ask the Membership Secretary for one.  We treat all personal data responsibly and in accordance with the law, and you can read our Privacy Statement here PDF

It is desirable, but not essential, for members to have some sight reading experience.

The cost of music hire is included in the membship subscription.  If you have your own music, please check in advance with the Librarian that it is a suitable edition.  Please bring a soft (B or 2B) pencil and an eraser with you to rehearsals.

We have a short break in the middle of our rehearsal, during which refreshments are usually available at a small charge to raise funds.

Members are encouraged to sell concert tickets to friends and family.

News items of interest to current members are posted on the Members' Noticeboard
